Invitation to the final conference

The research project "ELLpH - Factors influencing the implementation of new teaching and learning concepts at private higher education institutions" is entering its final phase. On 12 June 2026, the final conference with exciting insights into the research results will take place at the Center for Higher Education (zhb) at TU Dortmund University.

After several years of joint research, the ELLpH project team invites you to the final conference at the Center for Higher Education (zhb) at TU Dortmund University on 12 June  2026. The focus will be on the presentation of project results and discussion of key questions related to innovative teaching and learning concepts at private higher education institutions.

The event will start at 10.30 a.m and end at 3.30 p.m.

The conference will kick off with a keynote speech by Dr. Alexander Mitterle on the typology of private universities entitled "How special are private universities? Genesis, differentiation and change in the private higher education sector in Germany". This will be followed by a presentation of key project results and workshops on selected issues from the three sub-projects. The conference will conclude with a panel discussion with the scientific advisory board.

All interested parties are cordially invited to save the date and take part in the event.
